The SAVinsight and Melchers teams had the opportunity to connect with numerous brands at Watches and Wonders and Time to Watches to explore their interests and needs in our new watch and jewelry service center in China, set to open this summer.

Four key interests emerged according to the level of presence of the brand in China, showcasing the growing demand for high quality services in the region:

Brand without a China presence, but with European retailers who sell to Chinese tourists: Our service center can act as the brand authorized service partner allowing its retailers to advertise this (as an additional selling argument).

Brand already selling in China, but who is tired and frustrated with its current local solution and concerned about risks such as spare parts and quality.

Brand interested in technical advice and training for its local salespeople on the specificity of its products, answering a local and decentralized requirement that doesn’t justify long trips.

Brand having its own service center, however interested in having access to additional repair capacity to address peak service demands.
